Who is Salon Essentials?
Salon Essentials is the leading beauty distributor in Trinidad & Tobago, operating as a subsidiary of Mecalfab Limited. We have been serving the T&T market since 1999, specializing in distributing over 25 renowned international beauty, haircare, skincare, and fragrance brands.
What is 'The Beauty Guild'?
‘The Beauty Guild’ is our first retail store, opened in 2024. It caters to the general public, offering a wide range of cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and fragrances from our prestigious brand portfolio.
Do you sell authentic products?
Absolutely. We are the authorized distributor for all 25+ international brands we carry, guaranteeing 100% authentic products.
How can I shop at your professional-only locations?
Our locations in Port of Spain and Chaguanas are exclusive to beauty professionals. To shop there, you must register for a Professional Account and provide valid professional credentials (e.g., license, certification, or business registration).
How do I apply for a Professional Account?
You can visit one of our professional locations or contact our sales team directly to begin the application process. Once your credentials are verified, you will gain access to professional pricing and products.
Do you offer training or education?
Yes. A core part of our mission is to empower professionals. We regularly host training workshops, educational seminars, and mentorship programs for our professional account holders to keep them updated on the latest trends and techniques.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Retail Customers (The Beauty Guild): There is no minimum order quantity.
Professional Customers: MOQs may apply to specific professional bulk items or for qualifying for special discounts. Please check with your sales representative.
What is your policy on returns and exchanges?
Due to the nature of health and beauty products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is defective or was damaged during shipping. All sales are considered final. Please review our detailed Return Policy (available on our website) for full information.
Where do you deliver?
We currently offer shipping and delivery services exclusively within Trinidad & Tobago.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders require 1 to 3 business days for processing. Once shipped, delivery within Trinidad typically takes an additional 2–4 business days, and Tobago takes 4–7 business days. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for complete details.
What should I do if my shipment is damaged?
You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery if your package or products arrive damaged. Please email us with your order number and photographs of the damage so we can investigate the claim and process a replacement.
