Terms and Conditions of Service – Salon Essentials

Welcome to Salon Essentials, a subsidiary of Mecalfab Limited. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our physical locations, our distribution services, and our retail store, ‘The Beauty Guild.’ By accessing or using any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Service and Customer Types

Salon Essentials operates in Trinidad & Tobago (T&T) and offers two distinct services:

• Professional Services: Exclusive distribution and sales through our professional-only locations in Port of Spain and Chaguanas, catering strictly to licensed beauty professionals (e.g., salon owners, stylists, estheticians). Access to these locations requires valid professional credentials.
• Retail Services: Sales to the general public through ‘The Beauty Guild’ retail store (and associated online platforms, if applicable).

2. Professional Account Obligations

2.1. Eligibility: To qualify for a Professional Account, you must provide verifiable proof of your professional status within the beauty or wellness industry (e.g., business license, professional certification). 2.2. Pricing and Products: Professional Accounts grant access to professional-only products and discounted pricing. Sharing or reselling these products or price lists to non-professionals is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination. 2.3. Education: Professional Account holders may be granted access to exclusive training workshops and mentorship programs, subject to availability and separate registration terms.

3. Product Use and Liability

3.1. Professional Products: Products labeled “For Professional Use Only” are intended for use by trained, licensed professionals. Salon Essentials accepts no liability for damage, injury, or adverse reactions resulting from the misuse of professional products by non-professionals. 3.2. All Products: We are distributors of third-party international brands. While we commit to quality, use of all products is at the customer’s risk. Customers are responsible for reading all labels and instructions and performing necessary patch tests. 3.3. Accuracy of Information: We strive to ensure product descriptions and pricing are accurate, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors and cancel orders if necessary.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, branding (including “Salon Essentials” and “The Beauty Guild”), and educational materials associated with Mecalfab Limited are the intellectual property of Mecalfab Limited or its licensors and are protected by law. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

5. Payment and Pricing

All prices are listed in TTD (Trinidad & Tobago Dollars) unless otherwise stated. Payment methods accepted may vary between professional locations and The Beauty Guild retail store. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad & Tobago.
